Bloom Centre of Youth Innovation

Bloom at St Catherine’s College is the Center for Youth Innovation. Bloom is a youth-led non-profit that has successfully created a vibrant community of changemakers by delivering impactful entrepreneurial programs and creating a dynamic hub for entrepreneurs and innovators to flourish.

Bloom’s Youth programs cater to primary and secondary school students, both within the classroom and outside the classroom, to teach them essential entrepreneurial skills. Bloom’s university-aged programs include Launchpad, an accredited university unit to build a business in 12 weeks, and Shine, Bloom’s leadership development program. The Orbit Accelerator program provides business founders with tools to impact their short and long-term trajectories.

In addition to its programs, Bloom also has a thriving community of entrepreneurs in its co-working space. The community brings together like-minded individuals to collaborate, share ideas, and grow their businesses. Bloom also runs innovative events such as International Women’s Day and Startup Weekend.

The Entrepreneurship program at Carmel aims to inspire students to be innovative as well as provide them with the opportunity to develop core skills beneficial for their future careers in the process. The support that the Malka Foundation provides the school allows us to curate the best resources and extra-curricular activities to achieve this goal.
